Columbia Police Department officers were constantly searching for Sims who was missing since the week of Christmas, and arrested Taylor Wardlaw in connection with his death. Eddie Brown, 30, has been charged as an accomplice to the death by the Columbia Police Department, officials say. Sims was a man of 26 who was last seen in a residence at Ervin Street in Columbia Dec. 20. According to police, his girlfriend Wardlaw declared Sims missing on December. 22. Sims's body Sims was found this week near Monticello Road. Naida Ruterford the Richland County Coroner announced the body had been discovered. Skip Holbrook, the Chief of Columbia Police says Wardlaw has been accused of murder as well being a firearm owner in the perpetration of a violent act. Police say Sims was shot dead multiple times. This is Columbia Police Department's tweet in need of help from the community.
