Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the sports of combat. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd felt more confident following the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen by unanimous decision. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen employed her impressive wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her fight via the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd was unable to reach her weight. However, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She finished her by KO in the 2nd round. Her final fight with this promotion, Ladd fought Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina by grounding and pounding her, winning the TKO in second round. She maintained her dominance, and won another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd won the fight at the start of round one, and was awarded the Performance of the Night Bonus. Her first major fight came with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd took home by a unanimous decision following some great exchanges between the two fighters received an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds, breaking the streak of winning. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC in ESPN 7. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Her loss was a unanimous one.
